I have been an industry professional for over 17 years and am currently licensed in the state of Washington in Manicuring and Cosmetology. Had beauty school not been available to me when I was in high school, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I didn’t know I had such a passion for the beauty industry until graduating from beauty school in 2005. I fell in love with everything that had to do with this industry and throughout the years I have learned so much more than just doing hair. Growing as a professional has been the best thing I have chosen for myself. Learning as much as I possibly can have made my career more than just a job. It’s my new-found passion. We lost our beauty school just before the pandemic and, since then, it has been missed very much. I was given the opportunity to bring the school back and took the chance I got so that Chavez Beauty School can create great professionals to add to the beauty world and our community.
