Professional Medical Careers
The Professional Medical Careers (PMC) program introduces students to the rewarding medical field to learn knowledge and skills applicable to many medical occupations. Students explore medical careers in their areas of interest, as well as in targeted demand areas for future job openings. Students completing all course work and participating in a 50-hour clinical internship will be eligible to become Washington State Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC). Own transportation is required for clinicals.
One year; 3 hour class, 1.5 credits per semester. Monday through Friday: 12:00 p.m. - 2:45 p.m.
Credits: Lab Science (up to 1.0) and/or Occupational Credits
Open to students in grades 11 and 12.
Program Highlights:
- Students may earn 14 college credits from Grays Harbor College (with a grade of ''B'' or better).
- This program is offered in partnership with Harbor Regional Health and its medical professional staff.
